The Hillman Minx was a mid-sized family car produced by the British Rootes Group from 1931 to 1970. These postwar models were part of the "Audax" series, designed with styling input from the U.S. firm Raymond Loewy Associates, giving the car a distinctly modern and transatlantic look for its time. The 1962 Minx featured several updates over earlier models, including improved suspension, updated trim, and more efficient engines. The car offered good practicality with a spacious cabin, a roomy boot, and durable materials. Well-regarded for its dependable engineering and elegant styling, the Hillman Minx was a common sight on British roads throughout the 1950s and '60s.
