The exterior paintwork is in great condition, free from any major dents or scratches. The interior is also excellent having benefitted from a new carpet set recently. Below the bonnet, in the boot and the underside of the car are equally as impressive. A history file with some invoices, MOT certificates, and British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate. Although there appears to be nothing that requires immediate attention, please keep in mind that she’s 55 years old and shouldn't be compared to a modern car. Produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1961 to 1971. Styled by the Italian design house Pininfarina, the 16/60 shared its body with several other BMC cars but stood out with a more luxurious interior and a distinctive grille. Powered by a 1622cc B-Series engine the 16/60 was positioned as an upmarket car offering wood trim, leather seats, and a more refined driving experience. Production ended in 1971 as British Leyland, BMC’s successor, phased out the Wolseley marque.
