Singer Vogue Series 3

🔥FOR SALE 🔥 Rare 1965 Singer Vogue Series 3 - Absolutely Beautiful Car - £7950 Superb all round car, and really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Owned and restored by the Vogue Registrar of the UK Singers Owners Club. Maybe not quite in the same league as some of the other luxruy saloons from the 60's, the Vogue was aimed at the luxury market and was amongst one of the few cars of that era that came with reversing lights fitted as standard. The first generation Singer Vogue I/II/III/IV models of 1961 to 1966, was a badge engineered version of the Hillman Super Minx. Introduced in July 1961, it was positioned above the Super Minx and Singer Gazelle in the Rootes Group range, and had quadruple headlights as well as a more powerful 66 bhp version of the 1,592 cc Minx engine. The Series II version for 1963 had front disc brakes as standard, changes to the interior, removal of the chrome bonnet strip and a change to amber front indicator lenses. The Series III of 1964 gained six light bodywork and an increase in power to 84 bhp. She was owned and lovingly restored, with no expense spared, over a number of years by the Vogue Registrar Rob Moss, who also owns a specialist Citroen restoration business. So not only a Singer lover but a very experienced car restorer. A lovely car to drive, she is smooth and quiet on the road. Her spacious interior will comfortably accommodate a family of four, and the large boot means there is adequate room for picnic hampers, table & chairs. MOT exempt & free road tax, low cost classic car insurance. Very affordable entry level classic car, economical to run with inexpensive maintenance costs. All parts are readily available for ongoing care and maintenance. **Please bear in mind she is 59 years old & should not be compared to a modern car. Unless advertised as Concours (a show vehicle in pristine condition) there may be imperfections, blemishes & age related wear & tear in there somewhere, even if not apparent on first viewing. It is inevitable that some degree of tinkering and care will be called for even to a car in this condition. Owning a classic car is a hobby & you will spend time & money in ongoing care & maintenance. You should take this into consideration before buying a classic car. The description of the car is based on my opinion, & it could be that it will differ from yours. If you are considering buying the car, I recommend that you examine & test the car and satisfy yourself as to its condition and suitability.
