Introduction.

The cars I sell typically range in age from 20 to 80 years old and may have exceeded their expected life span.

As such, they may show signs of decades of use, wear and tear. Ongoing repairs, maintenance, and care will be essential to improve or preserve their condition.

At Cherryvalley Cars and Classics, we specialise in the sale of classic cars, typically within the £3,000 to £10,000 price range, though not exclusively. While this budget often allows for the purchase of a well-maintained vehicle, it's crucial to maintain realistic expectations, as cars in this and most price ranges may have some imperfections.

It’s essential to approach your purchase with a discerning eye and practical mindset. Classic cars often come with blemishes, imperfections, and a need for ongoing repairs and maintenance. They should be cherished for what they are—vintage pieces of history—rather than judged by the standards of modern vehicles.

Owning a classic car can be an immensely rewarding and enjoyable experience. However, if you're not fully prepared for the challenges and commitment required to maintain such a vehicle, it may become a difficult responsibility.

Please give this careful consideration before making your purchase.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

  1. 'As Is' Sale: The car is being sold in its current condition without any guarantees or warranties from the seller. By purchasing the vehicle under these terms, the buyer accepts the car with all existing faults, defects, or issues, whether known or unknown at the time of sale. When a car is sold "as is," the seller bears no responsibility for any repairs needed before or after the sale. It is the buyer's responsibility to thoroughly inspect the car and ensure they are fully aware of its condition before finalising the purchase.
  2. No Warranties: Cherryvalley Cars & Classics makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of the car's description, including but not limited to its age, authenticity, suitability, provenance, attribution, origin, condition, fitness for purpose, merchantability, or roadworthiness. Any warranties or conditions that would otherwise be implied by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are expressly excluded.
  3. Description Disclaimer: Any description of the car, including, but not limited to verbal, visual, or written, reflects my personal opinion and it may differ from yours. My personal opinion should not be interpreted as factual information or advice related to buying the car.
  4. Buyer’s Responsibility: It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and ensure its condition, value, and suitability meets their expectations. The buyer acknowledges that the vehicle may require repairs, servicing, and/or an MOT test to be roadworthy. The buyer accepts all known and unknown defects at the time of sale and assumes full responsibility for any necessary repairs after the sale is complete.
  5. Liability: Neither party shall be liable to the other for any direct or indirect consequential losses, expenses, damages, or claims arising from the purchase or sale of this vehicle.
  6.  Advertising Disclaimer: The seller assumes no responsibility or liability for any typographical or photographic errors that may appear in advertising.
